The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Department of Political Economy at King’s College London are co-organizing a workshop on the Economics and Politics of Migration. The workshop will take place at King’s College London on 20-21 April 2020.
The workshop will provide a platform for researchers and policymakers to discuss new research and to identify areas where further academic and policy-oriented work is needed. Both theoretical and empirical contributions are welcome. There will be a dedicated discussant for each paper, as well as open floor discussion.
The workshop features keynote speeches by Alan Manning (London School of Economics) and Anna Maria Mayda (Georgetown University).
There is no registration fee. Accommodation expenses will be covered for speakers and discussants. The organisers are not able to cover travel costs. An invitation-only conference dinner will be hosted on 20 April 2020.
To submit a paper (full papers only) please send an email to Cevat Giray Aksoy at firstname.lastname@example.org. In the subject header please add “Submission: Migration Workshop”. In the case of multiple-authored papers, please indicate who will present the paper. The authors will be notified about acceptance by 15 March 2020.
